Feathers, Cupcakes and Grace

I have had the outstanding pleasure of having a revolving schedule of beautiful friends in and out of my home studio to lend a helping hand to pull off my most recent project. I love you all. Today was full of feather bagging, home-made hot pink cupcakes and Gracie James. These cupcakes she made were a cosmic explosion to my taste buds and her company the same on this rainy day. Thank you to all of you for making this past week and my deadline so fun and amazing. XO

Partnership

Here is to the mystery of partnership. XO

Kelly Wearstler

On the second day, i choose my next play date to be with Kelly Wearstler. I would let her choose where we would eat. I would save the cloth napkin that she would use and sew it into a pillow. I would put her picture on my night stand too. She inspires me so endlessly on all fronts. What treat that would be. XO

Vivienne Westwood

If I could pick one person in the world right now that i would want to have a play date with it would be her. Hands down. She inspires me so deeply that i want to put an 8" by 10" of her on my night stand. XO

MORE OVER THE GREEN MOON

GREEN MOON

I have the pleasure of going back to Rowayton Connecticut where I used to call home and guide the Green Moon art studios into art delight. By supplying Glitter Pie curriculum, my obsessive organizational skills and magic---i keep myself honest in the pursuit of creating beauty, using what we have, finding joy in the little things (with little ones) and making art along the way. Cole is this super cool dude that works at the studio after school. At 14 he is the resident photographer who took these shots of some of the set-ups i have done for their studios. Find something to create with and make it happen. XO

APRES BREAKFAST

MORE BREAKFAST

BREAKFAST

Ruby, one of my former Glitter Pie Art studio die hards/veterans invited me to her house for breakfast by written letter. This letter was photographed by her Mom Laurie and sent via-mail. I could not resist the invite when my named was spelled Tifhany. Ruby is now 5, but i met her when she just turned 3. We have had so much time together in the past creating at the studio that our visit was like old friends just picking up where we left off. Santa brought her a Judy for Christmas so we styled her mermaid dress with some scrap fabrics i brought along. She cut a paper bag princess costume for Halloween (perfect timing in April) while Laurie poached perfect eggs and Lee watched. Alice (Ruby's little sis) was blowing up the living room while i took some shots of the visually delicious morning i had in their new kitchen. Lee is the famous Glitter Pie Media king. He filmed my tooth fairy video on YouTube (Flash Frame Digital Media) and has documentary footage of Glitter Pie and the studio in full flourish. I love these people. They are so chill and natural as a couple and as parents. I am always inspired. Thank you Dudes, it was delicious. XO

WEDDING BELLS

No, i am not getting married.....Maybe to the art and crafting world for the moment i say, "I DO!". But! Wedding Bells came ringing on the phone when this Canadian Magazine needed some crafty-special-one-of-a-kind-make-it-yourself-love-inducing-extras as favors for tables and a DIY ring pillow for their summer spread. Have a look at what i came up with on their cream, yellow and red scheme. Who better than Lady pie to bring the good love? XO
